Religious teachings, rituals and traditions have been around for thousands of years…

If I follow the holy teachings, I will get close enough to know God.

My religion sets standards for how to live, guides me and gives me peace.

I know exactly what I have to do to be considered “good.”

God is holy. He calls us to live in obedience to him.

But do you know that he is also a merciful and loving Father?
O Lord, You are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for Your help.
Psalm 86:5

A New Way

In early history, God gave his people laws to protect them from the consequences of sin. Their failures show us how impossible it is to live perfectly.

Just like them, we fail, and our lives are marked by sin.

And yet, God sent Jesus to the world not to punish us, but to save us. (John 3:17)

This open invitation to know God and enter his presence was not without cost.

Jesus took our guilt on himself at the cross to set free those who will follow him.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23

Given. Not earned.

Religion has formalized the process of approaching our Creator, but God wants you to know him in spirit and truth.

You can come vulnerably to God today and share in an intimate relationship with him.

Would you like to know God in a new way today?
